Laser Tattoo Removal in Richmond Hill
Laser tattoo removal in Richmond Hill, done by one specialist. Forouz Beauty removes and fades tattoos with a Q-switched laser at 330 Hwy 7, Unit 512 — body tattoos, and also eyebrow tattoos and microblading. Every session is done personally by Forouzan Ghandi, and every treatment starts with a consultation and an honest estimate of how many sessions your tattoo is likely to need.
Laser removal works over several sessions, spaced weeks apart, so the body has time to clear the ink between visits. Whether you want a tattoo gone, lightened for a cover-up, or an old brow tattoo faded before it is redone, the plan is built around your tattoo, not a fixed package.

How laser tattoo removal works
A Q-switched laser fires extremely short pulses of light into the skin. The tattoo ink absorbs that energy and breaks into particles small enough for the body’s immune system to carry away. That clearing happens between sessions, which is why the tattoo fades gradually over several visits rather than disappearing after one.
Straight after a pulse the treated area often turns white for a few minutes — that is normal. Redness, swelling and sometimes small blisters follow over the next days and settle as the skin heals.
What affects how many sessions you need
- Ink colour — black and dark blue respond best; green, red and yellow are the hardest to clear.
- Ink density — professional tattoos usually carry more ink than amateur ones.
- Age of the tattoo — older tattoos have already faded and often clear faster.
- Where it is — areas with good circulation tend to clear sooner than hands, feet and ankles.
- Your skin and health — skin type, a recent tan and how quickly you heal all play a part.
We will not promise complete removal before we have seen your tattoo. Some tattoos clear fully; others fade a long way and stop there. Fading is often all you need for a cover-up.
Microblading and eyebrow tattoo removal
The same Q-switched laser is used to lighten or remove microblading, powder brows and older eyebrow tattoos — whether the colour has turned grey or warm, the shape no longer suits you, or you simply want to start again. Brow pigment usually sits more shallowly than a body tattoo.
Cosmetic pigments need extra care: some light, warm or flesh-toned pigments can turn darker when a laser hits them. So brow removal always starts with a small test area, and the full brow is only treated once we have seen how that area healed.
Planning to have your brows redone afterwards? Fading the old work first gives a cleaner base. See our microblading and powder brows.
Coming from Markham, Vaughan, Thornhill or North York
The studio is at 330 Hwy 7, Unit 512, Richmond Hill, on the Highway 7 corridor, open Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 17:00. Tattoo removal takes several visits over months, so a studio on an easy route makes the whole course simpler.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s guide to tattoo removal options and results explains why colour matters: dark blue and black are the easiest to remove, green, red and yellow the hardest, and flesh-coloured, white and permanent makeup pigments can oxidize and turn darker under a laser. Results vary from person to person, and no honest studio will promise you a particular outcome.

How we
work
Learn our work process.
Consultation & Test
We look at the tattoo, ask about your skin and health, and give you an honest estimate of the sessions. For brow tattoos and microblading we start with a small test area.
Laser Session
You wear protective eyewear while the Q-switched laser passes over the tattoo in short pulses. Most sessions are quick; larger tattoos take longer.
Healing & Next Session
You go home with aftercare instructions. The skin heals over one to two weeks, the ink keeps clearing for weeks after, and the next session is usually six to eight weeks later.
What to Expect, by Tattoo Type
| Tattoo | How it usually responds | Spacing between sessions |
|---|---|---|
| Professional, black or dark blue | Responds well, but dense ink often needs many sessions | 6 to 8 weeks |
| Amateur or older tattoo | Often clears in fewer sessions | 6 to 8 weeks |
| Multi-coloured | Dark colours fade first; green, red and yellow are the hardest | 6 to 8 weeks |
| Microblading or eyebrow tattoo | Usually fewer sessions than a body tattoo; test area first, because some pigments can darken | 6 to 8 weeks |
| Fading for a cover-up | Fewer sessions than full removal | 6 to 8 weeks |
These are typical patterns, not promises — your estimate comes from the consultation, once we have seen the tattoo.

Laser tattoo removal in Richmond Hill: frequently asked questions
Where can I get laser tattoo removal in Richmond Hill?
At Forouz Beauty, 330 Hwy 7, Unit 512, Richmond Hill. Forouzan Ghandi does every treatment herself with a Q-switched laser, for body tattoos and for eyebrow tattoos and microblading. Book a consultation on 647-970-3101.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the tattoo. Professional tattoos with dense ink usually need more sessions than older or amateur ones, and black and dark blue clear faster than bright colours. Many tattoos need somewhere between several and ten or more sessions, spaced six to eight weeks apart. We give you an honest estimate at the consultation, once we have seen the tattoo.
Does laser tattoo removal hurt?
Most people describe each pulse as a quick snap, like a rubber band against the skin. Sessions are short because the laser moves quickly. We talk through comfort options at the consultation.
Can you remove microblading and eyebrow tattoos?
Yes. We use the same Q-switched laser for eyebrow tattoos and microblading. Because some cosmetic pigments can darken when treated with a laser, we start with a small test area and check how it responds before treating the whole brow.
Which tattoo colours are hardest to remove?
Black and dark blue are the easiest. Green, red and yellow are the hardest, and flesh-toned, white and some permanent makeup pigments can turn darker when lasered. We tell you at the consultation how your colours are likely to respond.
Will laser tattoo removal leave a scar?
There is a small risk of scarring or skin colour change, which is why aftercare matters. Blistering and scabbing can happen after a session and are part of normal healing — picking at them is what raises the risk.
What does aftercare involve?
Keep the area clean and covered as advised, let any blisters or scabs heal on their own, avoid sun on the treated skin, and skip swimming and hot tubs until it has healed. You go home with written aftercare instructions.
Can I just fade a tattoo for a cover-up?
Yes. Fading a tattoo so a tattoo artist can cover it, or so a brow can be redone, usually takes fewer sessions than full removal.
