Permanent Makeup in Richmond Hill
Permanent makeup in Richmond Hill, done by one specialist. Forouz Beauty offers four permanent makeup treatments at 330 Hwy 7, Unit 512: microblading, powder / ombre brows, lip blush and permanent eyeliner. Every one is done personally by Forouzan Ghandi, and every one starts with a consultation to agree the shape and colour before any pigment is used.
Permanent makeup — also called cosmetic tattooing or micropigmentation — places pigment just under the surface of the skin, so your brows, lips or lash line look defined without daily makeup. It fades gradually over the years and is refreshed with a short touch-up.

Our permanent makeup treatments
Microblading
Microblading draws fine, hair-like strokes into the brow by hand, following the direction your own hairs grow. It is the most natural-looking way to fill gaps, extend a short tail or rebuild over-plucked brows. It suits normal to dry skin best; on very oily skin the strokes can blur as they heal, and powder brows are usually the better choice.

Powder / ombre brows (shading)
Powder brows, also called ombre brows or brow shading, are built up with a machine in tiny dots, so the brow looks softly filled in — lighter at the front and deeper towards the tail, like a well-applied brow powder. They suit oily and combination skin, hold their shape well, and can be combined with a few hair strokes at the front for a softer start.
Lip blush
Lip blush adds a soft wash of colour to the lips and evens out the lip line, so they look fuller and more defined without lipstick. The shade can stay close to your natural lip colour or go a little brighter. Expect the colour to look strong for the first few days and then soften considerably as it heals.
Permanent eyeliner
Permanent eyeliner places pigment along the lash line. It can be a fine lash-line enhancement that simply makes lashes look thicker, or a more visible line with a small flick. It is popular with clients who wear contact lenses, have watery eyes or find it hard to draw liner evenly.
Coming from Markham, Vaughan, Thornhill or North York
The studio is at 330 Hwy 7, Unit 512, Richmond Hill, on the Highway 7 corridor, open Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 17:00. Clients come to us from across York Region and North York, and because permanent makeup needs a follow-up touch-up visit, a studio on an easy route matters more than it does for a one-off appointment.
Permanent makeup is a form of tattooing, and the same care applies. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s fact sheet on tattoos and permanent makeup sets out the risks worth knowing before you book. Results vary from person to person, and no honest studio will promise you a particular outcome.

work

Consultation & Mapping
We talk through the look you want, check that the treatment is right for your skin, then measure and draw the shape on so you can see it before anything is permanent.
Numbing & Pigment
A topical numbing cream goes on first. The pigment is then placed by hand for microblading, or with a machine for powder brows, lip blush and eyeliner.
Healing & Touch-Up
You go home with aftercare instructions. The colour settles over four to six weeks, and a touch-up around six to eight weeks evens out anything that healed lighter.
Comparing the Four Treatments
| Treatment | Technique | The look | Best for | Typically lasts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Microblading | Hand tool, hair-like strokes | Natural, feathered | Normal to dry skin, sparse brows | About 1 to 2 years |
| Powder / ombre brows | Machine shading | Soft, filled-in, like brow powder | Oily or combination skin | About 2 to 3 years |
| Lip blush | Machine shading | Soft colour, defined lip line | Pale or uneven lip colour | About 2 to 3 years |
| Permanent eyeliner | Machine, along the lash line | Thicker-looking lashes or a soft line | Contact lens wearers, watery eyes | About 2 to 3 years |
Every treatment includes a touch-up visit around six to eight weeks after the first session. How long the result lasts depends on your skin, sun exposure and skincare — we go through that at the consultation.

Permanent makeup in Richmond Hill: frequently asked questions
Where can I get permanent makeup in Richmond Hill?
At Forouz Beauty, 330 Hwy 7, Unit 512, Richmond Hill. Forouzan Ghandi does every treatment herself — microblading, powder brows, lip blush and permanent eyeliner. Book a consultation on 647-970-3101.
What is the difference between microblading and powder brows?
Microblading draws fine, hair-like strokes by hand and gives the most natural, feathered look. Powder (ombre) brows are shaded with a machine for a soft, filled-in look, like brow powder. Powder brows usually hold up better on oily skin; microblading tends to suit normal to dry skin.
How long does permanent makeup last?
It fades gradually rather than disappearing. Microblading typically lasts about one to two years, powder brows and permanent eyeliner often longer, and lip blush around two to three years. Skin type, sun exposure and skincare all change the figure, and most clients book a colour refresh when it softens.
Does it hurt?
A topical numbing cream is applied before and during the treatment. Most clients describe a scratching or vibrating sensation rather than pain. Lips and the lash line are the most sensitive areas.
How long does healing take, and do I need a touch-up?
The surface usually heals in one to two weeks, and the colour settles over about four to six weeks. A touch-up around six to eight weeks after the first session is normal — it fills in any spots that healed lighter and is part of getting an even result.
Who should not have permanent makeup?
We ask you to wait or talk to your doctor first if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have taken isotretinoin (Accutane) recently, are on blood thinners, tend to form keloids, or have an active skin condition or infection in the area. For lip blush, tell us if you get cold sores — your doctor may suggest an antiviral beforehand.
Will my lips or brows look too dark at first?
Yes, for the first few days the colour looks stronger and sharper than the final result. It softens noticeably as the skin heals, which is why we judge the result at the touch-up, not on day one.
How do I book?
Call or text 647-970-3101, or send a message through our contact page. Every permanent makeup appointment starts with a consultation to agree the shape and colour before any pigment is used.
